Who we are
Tayyari is operated by SocialDots Inc. Questions, access requests and complaints about personal information go to hello@tayyari.ca. Tayyari is an event-planning product for the Greater Toronto Area. This page describes how we handle information when you use tayyari.ca, including planning, vendor discovery, enquiries, and accounts.
What we collect
If you plan without an account, answers and the generated plan stay in this browser until you sign in or clear them. If you create an account, we store your name, email, password hash, optional phone, city and language preferences, your plan, saved vendors, and enquiries you send. Session cookies keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, which sets analytics cookies in your browser. Vendor applications include the business name, email, website, services and cities you submit.
How we use it
We use this information to generate a plan, show relevant vendors, send an enquiry to the vendor you chose, keep your dashboard in sync across devices, and operate the product. We do not sell your information. Tayyari does not book vendors or take payments.
What we share
When you send an enquiry, the name, email and message on that form — plus any event details you include — go to the vendor you picked and are visible to Tayyari operators so they can support that conversation. We do not share your plan or saved vendors with other planners.
Retention
Account data is kept while the account exists. Deleting your account from Settings removes the user record, plan, saved vendors, sessions, and enquiries tied to that account. Guest plans that were never signed in remain only in that browser. Vendor applications stay until they are approved, rejected, or removed by Tayyari. To have anything else removed, email the address above.
Your choices
You can plan without an account. Signed-in users can download a copy of their account data, delete a plan, or delete the account from Settings. Signing out ends the session on this browser; it does not delete the account.
